Strategy role-playing game fans have a new reason to set aside a few dozen hours for some intense PlayStation gaming. Vanguard Bandits offers nearly 60 detailed missions with a unique blend of traditional role-playing gameplay and 3-D hand-to-hand combat. Players join the charismatic Bastion as he leads a rebellion against a bloodthirsty general and his army of darkness in the mythical Junaris kingdom. Leading massive squadrons of robotic warriors into battle, it's up to Bastion to save the people of his world from an eternity of oppression.
In the 3-D isometric view, players use the wide variety of landscapes to their advantage and maneuver forces into superior battle positions. When it's time for combat, the view switches to that of a fighting game. The battles are detailed and intense--players smite foes with cleaving swords, piercing spears, and sizzling magical spells. At the end of the day--or days, as the case will likely be--it's up to Bastion and his robot army to save the kingdom!
Take Lincoln Logs to the extreme with BUILDERS BLOCK. Create buildings with blocks of the same color, and then knock them down for points and bonuses. Remember, the bigger the building, the better the bonus. If playing by yourself gets too dull, challenge friends in the Versus mode.
